Your Role
We are looking for a Hotel Receptionist with a strong barista and bartender orientation to join our team and provide professional, attentive guest services while managing front desk operations for our Hotel Agur.
As a Hotel Receptionist, you will have significant autonomy in handling reservations, check-in/check-out procedures, delivering high-quality beverage service, and creating a welcoming, social atmosphere for guests in shared hotel spaces.
This role requires effective guest interaction, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of service. We seek a dedicated individual who plays a pivotal role in creating positive guest experiences and ensuring operational excellence.
Your Journey
Act as a primary point of contact for guests in common areas, delivering warm, friendly, and personalized service.
Prepare and serve coffee, specialty beverages, cocktails, and other drinks according to hotel standards and recipes.
Operate independently in managing front desk tasks and guest services within established hotel policies.
Create a welcoming environment by engaging with guests, anticipating needs, and enhancing their overall stay through service interactions.
Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory control, and communicate restocking needs.
Manage reservations accurately, coordinate guest arrivals/departures, and ensure efficient check-in and check-out procedures.
Handle guest complaints calmly and professionally, seeking timely resolutions.
Ensure accuracy in billing, payment transactions, and guest profiles.
Maintain security protocols, guest confidentiality, and operational procedures.
Keep the front desk area organized and visually appealing at all times.
Collaborate effectively with hotel teams, ensuring smooth communication across departments and shifts.
Actively participate in training sessions and continuously develop knowledge of hotel operations, local attractions, beverages, service techniques and hospitality standars.
What do you bring to your trip
Experience in guest-facing hospitality roles, combining front office responsibilities with barista and/or bartender service.
Strong service mindset with the ability to work independently and deliver consistent, high-quality guest experiences.
Solid knowledge of coffee preparation, beverage presentation, and basic cocktail making.
Experience handling payments, POS systems, and basic front office tasks.
Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented, with a collaborative and flexible team attitude.
Excellent communication skills; advanced proficiency in English and Spanish is required, additional languages are a plus.
