Your role
We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our Bucharest team and help provide the best experience for our guests.
This role focuses on ensuring the optimal, safe, and efficient operation of all installations and equipment across the group’s properties. The Maintenance Technician will play a key role in preventive and corrective maintenance, supporting team coordination, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Your journey
Implement and optimize preventive maintenance programs to ensure all technical systems and equipment operate safely and efficiently.
Monitor, inspect, and maintain critical equipment, including elevators, fire detection and extinguishing systems, power generators, and BMS systems.
Conduct maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, heating, and HVAC systems as required.
Quickly respond to failures or malfunctions to minimize guest discomfort and maintain property standards.
Coordinate the internal technical team and external partners to execute maintenance activities efficiently.
Prepare documentation and reports required for inspections by authorities such as Fire Department or ISCIR.
Control the inventory of materials and maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
Collaborate with reception, housekeeping, and restaurant teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting guest services.
Work with suppliers, contractors, and partner companies to ensure timely execution of tasks and projects.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal procedures at all times.
What do you bring to your trip
University degree in mechanical, electrical, energy engineering, or a related field.
Facility Management (Building Manager) course is an advantage.
Certified training in plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, automation, and energy management.
Valuable: ISCIR authorization (RSVTI), ANRE electrical authorization – type IIB/IIC, HVAC certifications.
Valuable: Fire Prevention & Firefighting (PSI / SU) course.
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar role, including team coordination.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to use company applications/software.
Fluent Romanian and conversational English.
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle emergencies.
Analytical thinking, results-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
